Toughen Up a Frilly Frock with Choke Chains and Biker Boots........

This sheer teal and brown dress with frills and bowed waist needs a bit of edge, I'm not really the cute and fuzzy type, but I like the design of this piece.
Brandishing a million choke chains, I'm channeling Mr. T!!!

Comfy little biker boots, say "don't mess with me!"

Presto Change-o...........

We're ready to knuckle under and finish a trillion little projects that need to be done before tonight, like wait for the work for the downstairs show and hang it! I'm wearing a silver tank with brass studs and black jeans. Jen's wearing a black ribbed Henley and white jeans.
I'm wearing gold Biviel's and Jens wearing kickin' ankle boots.

Here's our costume change I'm in a slinky dress from Ideeli and Jen wears a gossamer dress with ruched sleeves and brass dots. Pulling it togetha is a black belt.

My S&M sandals are by Promiscous and Jens are from Terra Firma. Hey, we pulled it off at last!!!
Wheee!!!!

Hangin"

Jen and I will be hard at the task of hanging the bountiful "Day of the Dead" show. There's about a million pieces in it, our most successful invitational show every year. I'm wearing this punk tee from a shop that doesn't exist anymore, 7 for all Mankind  houndstooth jeans. Ubiquitous cast.

I always wear this Erin Dengler necklace with this tee as it smacks of punk-dom. Broken glass, reflector and mirror.

I forget who these patent leather shoes are by but they rock, big buckle on the side. We'll let you know when we're finished hanging the show, hopefully by opening time tomorrow night!

I'm Back and with a Brand New Accessory!!!!!!!!

What I thought was a sprain last week actually turned out to be a broken wrist. I chose black for my cast because it's slimming and goes with my many pairs of black shoes.
Punk chain necklace from Revolver gives this otherwise tame outfit a bit of edge.

J. Crew tee with cotton floating scraps. Plaid belt, grey jeans.

Check out these kicks, we're doing alot of moving around today so NO PLATFORMS.
And I was in my bare feet when I broke my wrist, oddly enough.

"Falling Water" by Frank Lloyd Wright..........

This spectacular piece of architecture, called "Falling Water", (and also falling apart), reminds me of the shifting layers of this dress I'm wearing. It's not falling apart.....yet.
Layers are alternating beige and oatmeal, (not real oatmeal).

Necklace is a ebony box with fossilized bone window, loose watermelon tourmalines inside.

Bronze ankle boots by Type Z with cut-outs and 3 buttons. Killa. Lets go fall off the crumbling "Falling Water" together. WHEEEEEEEE!

Dollar Skirt from Thrifttown, a Gifted Vest, and Bracelet...

Fantastic skirt from crazy artist Janet Hoelzel, she's always combing Thrifttown and found this skirt that she said she had to get for me because somebody had to have it, especially for  a DOLLAR!

This vest is from my sister in law Peg, of course I love it, it's got shoes all over it. Notice the cuff, major grooviness.
Gladiator sandals by Type Z. It's the only item I have on that I bought. Poor little match girl!

We need a Mariposa in Milan.......

I realize the Italian women step out every day in their finest but we could try to catch up. Striped tunic with a rose and women's legs.

Black polished cotton capris from that "Black and White" shop. Check out these shoes, you think the barracuda ones could skewer a Vienna Sausage, these could spear 3!!!

Of course they're encrusted with rubies, pearls and citrines. Just kidding!
