Paleozoic Minnie Mouse........

Minnie Mouse is taking a thrashing today as I mimic her look. I smell law suit here. I'm a tad old to be donning a Minnie Mouse dress but hey, isn't she ancient now as well? She's definitely had work done.

Black mesh top and polka dot stretch jersey bodice, royal blue tie belt and full skirt. Actually this is tame compared to some age inappropriate clothing I wear. Oh, yeah, I forgot, everything I wear is age inappropriate.

Speaking of something from the days of yore, I purchased this cloth sunflower pin in Taos when there were about 8 people living up there.

Royal blue is as royal blue does. Oh please, these things again?

Why oh why couldn't one of those dinosaurs have taken her out??????????

Saturday, September 14

Hey! It's Saturday again!

Forever fried, I had a bit of trouble with what day it was all day long yesterday. Hence the previous post being Saturday also. Wheeeeeee!
The only piece of polymer jewelry I've ever liked. Of course I misplaced in my house for two months. Everything has a precise place. However would I get it together in the morning? You're thinking, "you call that together?"

Appears to be a dress no? Well, it's a skirt and a blouse, uh, alert the media.

This jersey top actually boasts camel hued cap sleeves, but they're all jacked up from the front so I'll just show you how it continues to the back.

Recently bequeathed to me, I think they are now the most glamorous shoes I own. Vintage pumps made entirely out of mesh.

Forever fried? Who'd of thought?

Clam Digger Saturday..........

Clam Diggers were all the thing in the late 50's, early 60's. Provocative showing of ankles to knees, what brazen expose.

I had to crop about a foot off each thigh to get it on the blog page. Oh heavens.

Let me elaborate on this blouse. First of all it's so see through I actually had to don a bra! Bra, I said. I really don't recall it being this sheer, but hey, what do I recollect?!? The other thing is it has about a trillion buttons down the front that should I not have been able to get it over my head I would have had to take a week off from work to button it.

Anthroplogie necklace. A thousand lashes!!

Kitten heels, sexy and sensible, moi?
Can't beat the hue.

She's such an irritating copycat!

Mellow is as Mellow Does........

Whatever possessed me to be so forgettable today? To give your eyes a break perhaps? To not scare too many people at work today? Too lazy to come up with something clever? All of the above.

Let's begin with this cheesy necklace I scored from some teenage shop in the mall. Dig it. It's probably going to turn my blouse green.

Must confess this vanilla beaded top and silk animal print trousers are palatable, but the colors. So boring!

Am smitten with these lilac studded suede flats. What do you where in the rain? Suede of course, dumb ass.

I've already completely wiped this rig from my memory, I'm certain the queue of company I have wraps around the building. Yawn.

Stop the Ruching.org

Seriously, I've never seen so much ruching in one place in my life. Question, where did ruching come from in the first place?

It just kind of appeared, just like M.C. Hammer pants.

Ah, but observe this perfect necklace by Wanda Lobito. Loteria playing cards, of which I claim total ignorance. Cool though.

Am discouraging shoe shots unless they cover my now amphibian feet. Years of cruel shoes. Dig it!

Keep those amphibious monsters away from me!

The Necklace the Shoes..........

I've amassed quite a collection of Krisitin Diener's work, uh, what haven't I amassed??????????
This exquisite piece defies words for it's brilliance. Comprised of a brace of curiosities.

Color blocked silk shift is truly limpid in the company it keeps.

We were blessed for several years by this brand called Irregular Choice from England. They no longer are available in this country. I weep. They did the most outrageous shoes. Square toed paisley with turquoise cylinder heel. Oh dear. Gee, and I amassed a boatload of these too. Now I've sold almost every pair to Buffalo Exchange for quite a bit of change. I'm kind of royalty at Buffalo Exchange as you can imagine.

Brittle bones made her sell off her 5 inch platforms. That's the real skinny.

Salmon & Red is the New Salmon & Red

Imagine this incredulous accoutrement to my outfit. Undergarments! Well it's actually a long undershirt,  but still, moi? Even I thought  the upper bodice resembled an x-ray.
Two color silk garment with brass rivets that's longer in the back.

Detail of my Asian adornments. Cinnabar box that opens and a little woven basket that also opens.
Both from Hey Jhonny.

Skin tight (of course) pencil skirt in bold salmon and red stripes. Divine intervention made this top lower in the back.

Red patent plats have a modicum resemblance to origami. Oh dear, the legs! The legs!

I thinks she's the only part of this outfit that wasn't manufactured in China. Wheeeeeeee!
