Swooping Chartreuse Monday.........

I'm certain you're pondering what the hell this necklace has to do with anything. The one chartreuse bead silly. (That's kind of stretching it, I'd say...)
Grooviness abounds in this stretch jersey frock with big swoopy action . Dress is slate, black, purple and chartreuse. Is that all?

Pee Wee-esque yellow patent plats by Type Z. The air is so rarified.

Barbara Stanwyck Sunday..........

Barbara Stanwyck was glamourous, fierce, poised, and a great actor of that era. She exuded a provocative ambience.

Sterling vintage pins add a retro touch to think "Good and Plenty" dress.

Stretch jersey frock has a detailed peplum top. Nice cave woman hair.........
It's faux vintage, but still cool.

Pink and black faux python pointy pumps with fishnets. I think Barbara would approve.Or if not, she'd probably shoot me......

Satin Saturday............

I strung a bunch of chains and pearls through this pendant by Richard Cruz. It says PAX, I wondered why Cruz made a pendant with Angelina Jolie's son's name on it. Then I found out it's Latin for peace. Duh......

Swooping draped jersey top in slate grey. Are we talking           toga again here?

Silver satin Diesel dress from Toad Road. Side buttons and a pleated pocket. There's all kinds of stuff going on on the top, you'll have to trust me.

Miu Miu patent boots Carla bequeathed me. Miu Miu is Prada's affordable line, yeah right.
Kickin' some commerce with the Balloonists, wheeee!

Wallace Simpson Friday.........

What a unique trendsetter Wallace was, a total fashionista. She was passionate about fashion, sound familiar?
Jewels by Debra Colonna and Karan Sipe.
I was gifted this gorgeous vintage sweater by a customer. It's wonderful but bares about a million moth holes! I have to wear a black camisole beneath to camouflage the said holes.
Another vintage score, this one from a store in Santa Fe. Black and white houndstooth with knife pleats. I love the length!

Gifted pumps from Elaine. I think they're from the 60's. They remind me of something Lady Bird Johnson would wear. I'm time traveling today!

Split Personality.............

Clever little navy  jersey frock with asymmetrical split in front.

And back. Note to self, never wear a dress that's more clever than you are..........

Not wanting to compete with the clean lines of this dress (seriously, moi?) , I chose to wear a billion bracelets instead. Observe the one that looks like sushi.

Back to the uber pointy "near fashion fatality" brocade flats. Which of my personalities would you like to talk to today?

Tweedy Bird.............

I've long adored this lapeled tweed vest. I call it my Sir Richard Burton vest.

                                                  Not THIS Sir Richard Burton.
The one that strove to discover the source of the Nile and wrote the Kama Sutra!
It's the little fountain pen and the elephant and the Asian pin that make me think it thus.

Donned over this red and black striped jersey dress. I think it quite a smart combo. My legs look like wrestlers legs! Jesus!

Fierce tweed shoes by Jeffrey Campbell with about a thousand straps on them. Love the alternating oval and rectangle buckles. Kind of correctional looking though.

Don't you just LOVE Tweety bird???????????

Knit Wit...........

Aubergine background on this Nine West machine knit frock. It has this mysterious little drawstring bow at the crotch. Curious.....

One of my more petite Kristin Diener's. This one features a woman's naked figure from the back, inside an eyeglass frame. Her face is nestled in one of the side bezels. Glorious.

I know, you've seen these like a thousand times but hey, they're comfortable. A little too matchy matchy with the dress however. Not my thing really..........Oh, REALLY????????
