This pin was purchased around 15 years ago in Seattle.  It was created by a little known artist named Liza Lou. It is comprised  entirely of bugle beads covering a plastic fork. Well, Liza Lou has sky rocketed in her career and is now recognized and shown world wide.  Here are a few of her elaborate and painstaking created installations. The kitchen took 5 years.

It's amazing what you can accomplish when you're insane. Dig it!
